Pastor Dennis C. Echols

Pastor Echols is a very dedicated, wise, and determined young man. Pastor started the minisrty in 1996 with the call of the Lord upon his shoulders. Not knowing what was ahead he still pressed toward the mark that God was calling for in his life. Pastor began the ministry with his wife, First Lady Echols, and two children Harold and Jessica.

This wise man was born to the late Pastor Gerald Echols and Missonary Doll Echols in 1956. Being a forth generation COGIC member born at the Delmar St. COGIC, Detroit, MI under the ministry of one of his favorite preachers, Bishop Robert Hill and later being saved under the ministry of his most favorite preacher, his late father Superintendent Gerald Echols at New Gospel Temple COGIC, Detroit, MI his destiny was determined. With his love for God being shaped at a very young age he set out for a promising future as he attended the Detroit Public School System. He also attended college in Detroit graduating from Wayne State University with a degree in Business Administration as a Management major.

He moved to Maryland and attended the St. Paul Miracle Temple COGIC under the leadership of Bishop W. G. Crudup, Sr., and served until the Lord called him out to do a work appointed for him.

In the start of his ministry some doubted but he stayed stead fast with his wife and two children by his side. Then the Lord began to bless by adding to the ministry laborers. This man of God taught the word of God as given and the words made an impact to many lives in the church and changed their hearts to loving the Lord.   

Today he is a father to many and a mentor to all. This angel of God has a unique style of preaching the gospel that will have you jumping from your seat. He is a blessing to all that walk through the doors of PT and is inspirational in his teaching. The one and only Pastor Dennis C. Echols.
